You're stuck on a small island... but you're not alone!  There's a lone tree with some coconuts on it.  At the very least you'll have a few snacks before you starve to death.  Hey! Shaking this tree is actually pretty satisfying!  Is that a monkey?  Maybe they want some coconuts too!

Omg, the monkey is taking a smoke break! lmao that is good stuff xD

That was fun! Played it a bit while I was working and got to 1,000 coconuts per second before the game got too laggy to operate any more.

I am sure most issues are from the time limitations, but some things that would be nice to see:

-Monkeys become useless once you get enough helicopters and planes make helicopters a bit useless as well.

-Would be nice if later game you could place islands full of trees or something, was very tiring clicking T and playing trees after a bit

-Not require tab focus for the game to run, it would be nice if I could browse other tabs on my browser without the game pausing.

I really liked the concept for a clicker like this, let me know if you ever plan to keep developing, I'll stay tuned :).

Thanks for the feedback!

  • The game is definitely in need of some optimizations after a point. I was thinking of including an optimized GetCoconuts method for the planet level onwards that would hide all of the animations at the island level and more or less instantly return the right number of coconuts. There’s other options I’ve considered too.

  • what’s a clicker without upgrades? I think there’s plenty of room for improving monkeys via upgrades (shortening their breaks, increasing speed, increasing coconuts per tree visited)

  • was thinking of maybe implementing a copy function that allows you to copy entire segments of the map to copy/paste and then tally up the total cost maybe plus a convenience charge.

Thanks for playing and I’m glad you enjoyed it!

niiiiice

No you!

Aww that smoking monkey is sick!

Thanks! The cover art for the game actually inspired the entire game. And I had to get the smoking in there somehow!

This is a perfect game after a game jam...where I just want to chill and relax!

Although I don't condone smoking behavior, yet thumps up for adding the animation...It made me laugh!

I don’t smoke myself, but these monkeys work hard and have earned the right for a vice!
